Quincy Jones Talks About Tupac Film
Legendary music figure Quincy Jones hopes that the Tupac Shakur film he's trying to bring to the screen will give its audience a few things to think about.
"I think it's a metaphor for a whole passage that our youth has to deal with. Both of them... Tupac and Biggie,"
Jones told MTV News while attending the premiere of "Batman & Robin" last week.
As we reported last month, Jones (who in addition to his accomplishments as a performer, composer, and producer is the owner of "Vibe" magazine) will produce a movie biography on the late Shakur, who was dating Jones' daughter Kidada at the time of his death.
Jones isn't sure if the film will be finished by the end of the year, but he assures that it is on the way. Since he hasn't seen a script, Jones also said that he hasn't started casting yet either.
